We are now halfway through 2014 (crazy, isn't it?), and with it comes the keys to all of our educational shackles as we begin our summer break! (Well, actually, since I'm a graduate, for me it's more of an Until-I-Get-A-Job break, but I digress)
Anyway, since I now have the time, I've got a lot to cover for this half of the year, starting with the return of Sonic Championship, as well as Pokemon World Summer 2014!
Of course, before all of that, there's still the matter of E3, which is little over a week away as of this writing. You can bet that as it happens, I'll do my best to give my (admittedly Nintendo-biased, but still fair) impressions on everything I see, especially the Smash 4 hype train, which is slowly, but surely pulling into its own Final Destination as Summer 2014 approaches!
As for the projects following E3, I've conveniently wrote out an outline of my project schedule in a previous journal, so if you want a look at what lies ahead, check that out.
Finally, since I'm fairly certain we're all still playing Mario Kart 8 at this point, I'll wrap this up with the announcement of two tournaments I've created for online play! (The codes of which will be posted on the Stuff About Me page henceforth)
First, the "Xero-J Invitational" which runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time: Simply a place where players can get together and race for fun, with all the features the game has to offer!
8325-9705-0759
And for the more serious-minded, there's the "Xero-J Boost Races", running from Saturday at 3:00 PM to Midnight EST. Four races in a series, no items. The only deciding factor is the speed and skill of the player!
0589-3511-0382
...So essentially, it's For Fun and For Glory, Mario Kart-style. As Sakurai said, I hope you'll enjoy them both!

Xero-J's Requests/Commissions (NOVEMBER UPDATE)
TL;DR
I'm permanently raising my prices for commissions starting next month, restructuring what I sell, and changing the way I handle requests.

--About Future Commissions--
I've been doing some thinking lately about the way I've been running my commissions, and I've come to a realization:
I'm really, REALLY selling myself short to still be charging $10 max for full-color artwork at this point in my life.
Hence, *STARTING IN DECEMBER*, I'm bringing up the prices of my commissions to be more worth my time and effort. Additionally, I'm restructuring my shop based on the tools I now have to work with, which means shutting down some optio
A message.
We live in tumultuous times, and I consider this gallery a simple space where folks don't have to worry about the weight of the world, and just appreciate the artwork. I don't intend for that to change, especially now, in order to provide some comfort to anyone who needs it. But I will say my piece now, because it deserves to be heard here at least once... Black lives matter. Racism is unacceptable. If you have any hope, as I do, that we will soon be able to live in a world where a brother doesn't have to fear for his life every time he walks down the street, you will give what you can to the places where it counts. https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/
Special Feature: MUGEN Pocket Clash
A mysterious invitation is sent out across the dimensional airwaves...
"Form a team of three and take on powerful warriors to win the title of Dimensional Champion, and with it, the chance to realize your lifelong dreams!"
And so...adventurers guided by their dreams, fighters in search of a challenge, and heroes looking to defend the world from evil come together to battle for the top! As the teams clash, however, it becomes clear that there's much more to this tournament, and the one behind the invitation, than anyone could have predicted...
Hmm...
So I don't mean to alarm you guys, but I've gotten word that a couple of troublemakers are looking to make a name for themselves and gotten loose around here while I was working on new uploads.
Just...lemme know if you notice anything suspicious, okay?
