Five years.
Five freaking years I've been on this site.
This has been an interesting ride, and I legitimately cannot imagine my life now without it.
Nowadays, I've branched out to other means of pushing my artwork, including Twitter, Tumblr, and a potential future shop on Redbubble, but there's no other word for it; this place has become akin to my home, and no matter where I go or what I do in my life, I know I always have a place to come back to here.
It feels weird trying to look back on what seems like such a long time, and see how far I've come with my life and my work. There are times I've succeeded and times I've failed, things that have started long ago and things that have yet to begin. Constantly, the next new idea is stirring in my head, always waiting to get off the ground and reach this site before anywhere else.
I've seen the progress of my work and many others slowly, but steadily improve on this site, and even though some who I've become proud to call my friends have left DA for greener pastures, I prefer to make sure that, whenever they return, they have someone on their side to look forward to hearing from and seeing more work from. For the people who've stuck around to speak with me here, of course, for all I know, they may end up becoming someone I trust enough to speak with everywhere else!
And as I continue my work, however quickly or however slowly...however consistently or however lazily...however extravagant or however simplistic...No matter what path my art and my craft takes in the future, there's no denying that it's been an incredible ride getting to the present, and I thank each and every one of you reading this, whether you're seeing this username for the first time, or the hundredth, for sticking with me as the path goes on into untold horizons.

Xero-J's Requests/Commissions (NOVEMBER UPDATE)
TL;DR
I'm permanently raising my prices for commissions starting next month, restructuring what I sell, and changing the way I handle requests.

--About Future Commissions--
I've been doing some thinking lately about the way I've been running my commissions, and I've come to a realization:
I'm really, REALLY selling myself short to still be charging $10 max for full-color artwork at this point in my life.
Hence, *STARTING IN DECEMBER*, I'm bringing up the prices of my commissions to be more worth my time and effort. Additionally, I'm restructuring my shop based on the tools I now have to work with, which means shutting down some optio
A message.
We live in tumultuous times, and I consider this gallery a simple space where folks don't have to worry about the weight of the world, and just appreciate the artwork. I don't intend for that to change, especially now, in order to provide some comfort to anyone who needs it. But I will say my piece now, because it deserves to be heard here at least once... Black lives matter. Racism is unacceptable. If you have any hope, as I do, that we will soon be able to live in a world where a brother doesn't have to fear for his life every time he walks down the street, you will give what you can to the places where it counts. https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co/
Special Feature: MUGEN Pocket Clash
A mysterious invitation is sent out across the dimensional airwaves...
"Form a team of three and take on powerful warriors to win the title of Dimensional Champion, and with it, the chance to realize your lifelong dreams!"
And so...adventurers guided by their dreams, fighters in search of a challenge, and heroes looking to defend the world from evil come together to battle for the top! As the teams clash, however, it becomes clear that there's much more to this tournament, and the one behind the invitation, than anyone could have predicted...
Hmm...
So I don't mean to alarm you guys, but I've gotten word that a couple of troublemakers are looking to make a name for themselves and gotten loose around here while I was working on new uploads.
Just...lemme know if you notice anything suspicious, okay?
