Hard to believe that all these ground-breaking announcements could have come from a simple fighting game, isn't it?
In the span of one year, we have become able to say that there officially exists a game where one man and his crew managed to get Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Ryu, AND Cloud Strife to exist all in the same space (especially true since 8-Player Smash is a thing, now!), and a little beyond this, we'll be able to say someone even more ridiculous will be joining that crowd!
So here's to 365 days of Settling It In Smash, the mad genius who managed to make it work, and all the players who fight For Fun and For Glory to keep Smash strong now and to the far future!
