It's this pic that made me realize Toad is probably the most underappreciated badass in the entire Mario series. Characters like Mario, Geno, or Bowser?

Not only does Toad take all manner of abuse head on to the face for Peach's sake without complaint, he throws it back at the fools who even dared to try and strike her while he was around!

Whatever Peach is paying these guys, if anything, it definitely isn't enough.
