I'd like to think that Alolan Gardevoir, like its normal variant, is able to warp dimensions, but that power came to backfire and corrupt it, giving it the capability of using black magic.
It still remains faithful to its trainers and will protect them with its life when absolutely necessary, but is much less reserved and more reckless about using its powers, even at its own expense.
